Beutiful decor....food was exellent....hake and prawns great....steak well cooked and great wings....really like here !!! The food was AMAZING. I got a smokey burger, and my friend got the jambalaya. We were initially intimidated by the price but honestly WORTH it. The atmosphere is very nice too. Very comfortable, lovely staff. Kilkenny is literally my favourite city, and this restaurant reinforced that for me (and I'm saying that as a Limerick man so you know it's true). I jus had the loveliest burger of my life so far (Smokey BBQ burger😍- emmentaler cheese gives it a really great extra taste, and even the chips was amazing 🥰, I don't know how it's possible 😅) with an AMAZING, FRENTIC BBQ sauce made by the cook - it was pure joy!! This sauce was simply EXTRAORDINARY, thank you so much! The Irish Golden beer was also extremely tastful, I never tried it before. I enjoyed every bite of my dinner here 🥰 The waitress is also lovely, friendly, very kind, thoughtful and professional 🤩 Thank you all for this awsome time and dinner 🥰 Bardzo smacznie i klimatycznie. Incredible menu. Trouble deciding what to order. I had dinner at this restaurant and they served good food and even the deserts were awesome.We didn't had pre booking but they arranged space for us immediately without any wait and also the staff was very welcoming at the restaurant.The restaurant always seems busy and it's not a quite place but what else can you expect when the restaurant is situated at the middle of Kilkenny.A must visit place if you are in Kilkenny Amazing place. Great food and great atmosphere. All staff are very friendly and would highly recommend it to anyone for food 💯 I go here often whenever I'm in killkenny, the staff are always so nice and generally really nice people. The young lad, even though it was his second day working there as he mentioned it, he was very attentive, very accommodating when offering me more water. Delighted we found Paris Texas pop in for lunch unreal food for €10 a choice of wraps and or soup or chips accompanied by Tea or coffee. Wraps filled with chicken and salad really nice and by far the beast value for a lunch. Sehr gutes Essen.Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wow, I recently visited what I thought was my favourite restaurant in all of Kilkenny… My favourite waitress Ellen, was no where to be seen. I will be questioning my return… Grainne C.

Eiin wirklich schönes Restaurant mit einer beeindruckenden Bar .Das Essen war sehr gut !Ein Freund hatte den Caesar Salat und ich die Ribs mit Whiskey Barbecue Sauce und House-slaw.Sehr zu empfehlen! Great bar / restaurant.Fast friendly service Couldn't knock anything in the place everything was lovely Love it. Great live music too. Great food selection, generous kids portions at a more than reasonable price, superior service and faultless atmosphere. We had a lovely meal here last weekend. We were originally seated in an area similar to a conservatory and I asked could we sit in another area - we were moved straight away, all staff were very helpful.We got a large wings to share for starters, they were delicious. My husband got a chicken sandwich and I got breaded Chicken with veg and chips (pictured). All very tasty. I would definitely recommend. immaculate vibes. really lovely decor, lovely staff, lovely food. would come here again if i lived here in Kilkenny Great food. Kids portions a good size and fast to come out which was great. Service very friendly especially towards the kids. Overall a great venue and great food. Food was amazing here, I would definitely recommend checking out if in Kilkenny. There was a large menu and lots of cocktails to choose from. I loved the mac and cheese from here Catherine M.

Great menu options. Food and service were great. Music was on point. Front bar service very attentive. We had such a great time the first night we came back the second night. Great experience that I highly recommend. It was very busy but the food was lovely and the service was very good. The staff were hard to get a hold of is the only negative. Nice place, beautiful and great service . Food is awesome, tasty. We had a lovely evening meal here. We were promptly seated and the service was equally efficient throughout our visit, within a couple of minutes a server had come to take our drinks order. We ordered two mixed BBQ platters. The ribs were beautiful and the dry rub on them along with the whiskey sauce was so flavourful. The wings were tasty if a bit dry but the brisket was melt in the mouth delicious. We’d come back for that alone! Our server Ruth was very friendly and happy and made the experience all the better, she was efficient and helpful too, able to answer questions with ease and make recommendations. Great experience all round! Friendly serviceLovely pint and a great locationLittle on the expensive side but worth it I got the pull pork quesadillas and they were amazing! Really good. Our History
Following many visits to the southern states of Georgia, the Carolinas and Louisiana we are convinced that there is something special in this food that Irish people will love as much as we do. American Barbecue food is perfect with beer and perfect for casual dining in a bar – and it is fun! Then the French / Cajun influence of New Orleans adds a bit of finesse to ensure there is something for everyone.
To guarantee that you get the ‘real deal’ in American food our American chef has brought his unique recipes to Paris Texas and prepares them with specialist equipment including our wood smoker, broiler and char-grill which have been imported from Texas. Our dishes are prepared to suit all palates. A feature of smoked meats is that they are dry-rubbed or marinated first. As a result some of our dishes are both smokey and spicy but many are not. Some are delicately smoked (like our lamb sirloin) while others are stronger, like our ribs. But pork loves smoke – try the pulled pork to prove it for yourself!
We use all the local suppliers and ingredients that we can but for authenticity some things are imported – ghost peppers for our hottest ‘loco caliente’ sauce being a good example.
An extensive range of beers on tap
Paris Texas has an extensive range of beers on tap and in bottle to meet and challenge your tastes – just as our food does. We also pride ourselves on our range of spirits, particularly whiskeys, rums, gins and vodkas. All these spirits encourage experimentation so we probably have a cocktail with your name on it. Some even use our home-made lemonade. We also offer all our specially selected wines, including prosecco, by the glass as well as bottle.
